Short answer

Reconditioned containers are sold to a published grade, not as new. You have five business days from delivery to inspect and reject. Title and risk pass at our dock on collect terms and at your dock on prepaid terms. Nothing we sell is certified for a use the buyer has not disclosed to us.

1. Quotes and acceptance

Written quotes are valid for fourteen calendar days or until the specific units identified in the quote are sold, whichever occurs first. A quote identifies the grade, quantity, unit price, freight basis and lead time. Placing an order accepts these terms.

2. Grading

Units are sold against the grade definitions published on our grade standard pages. Grades describe condition and provenance, not fitness for a particular purpose. Cosmetic variation within a grade — staining, scuffing, faded cage coating, mismatched valve brands — is expected and is not a defect.

3. Food grade and potable service

Units sold as food grade ship with a prior-contents record and a wash certificate. That documentation describes what we know and what we did; it is not an endorsement of any downstream application. The buyer is responsible for confirming suitability under applicable FDA, USDA, state and local rules, and for any additional sanitising its own process requires. We will not knowingly sell a non-food-history bottle into potable or edible service.

4. Undisclosed use

If you intend to store a product with unusual chemical aggressiveness, pressure, temperature or regulatory status, you must disclose it in your enquiry. Where use is not disclosed, no representation about suitability is made or implied.

5. Freight, title and risk

Unless a quote says otherwise, sales are FOB our dock at 10275 Page Industrial Blvd. On collect or buyer-routed shipments, title and risk of loss pass when the units are loaded onto the buyer's carrier. On prepaid shipments we arrange carriage as an accommodation and risk passes on delivery; we are not a carrier and do not assume carrier liability. Visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves, or a freight claim cannot be filed.

6. Inspection and rejection

You have five business days from delivery to inspect and to reject units that do not meet the purchased grade. Notify us in writing with photographs and the serial or data plate detail. Properly rejected units are replaced, or credited at our option, including return freight. After five business days the shipment is accepted.

7. Returns

Correctly supplied units are returnable within fifteen days in resalable condition for a credit of the unit price less a 15% restocking charge and all freight. Cut, fabricated, drilled or otherwise modified units, and cage-only lots, are not returnable.

8. Payment

Prepayment by ACH or wire for new accounts. Net 30 terms are available on credit approval. Past-due balances accrue 1.5% per month. Units remain our property until paid in full.

9. Buyback and incoming material

When we buy from you, you warrant that the containers are empty to commercially reasonable standards, that prior contents have been disclosed accurately and are not a listed hazardous waste, and that you have the right to sell them. Mis-declared contents are returned at the seller's expense or disposed of lawfully at the seller's cost.

10. Limitation of liability

Our aggregate liability on any order is limited to the purchase price of the units concerned. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of product, loss of profit, downtime or cleanup, however arising. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Venue for any dispute is St. Louis County, Missouri.
